State Representative Missy McGee Visits PCS

Our 7th–12th grade students had the opportunity to hear from a very special guest during chapel recently—Mississippi State Representative Missy McGee. Her visit came at a meaningful moment, as students prepared to elect class officers and student government representatives.

Representative McGee, the parent of two PCS alumni, is no stranger to our campus. During her time as a PCS mom, she was an active member of our school community, serving on the PTO and volunteering regularly—especially at the concession stand during track meets! Her ongoing connection to PCS made her visit even more special.

She spoke with authenticity and warmth about the power of leadership. She reminded students that leadership isn’t limited to holding a title or position—it’s about influence, character, and courage. She encouraged students to use their voice, stand up for what matters, and be active participants in their school and community.

Her message was a timely and inspiring reminder that leadership starts right where you are. We are grateful to Representative McGee for taking the time to invest in our students and help shape the next generation of leaders.

We are proud to announce the 2025-2026 Student Council leaders who will be representing the student body on the Secondary Campus. Congratulations to the newest campus leaders ready to serve their classmates!
