Alex Arnold will join Presbyterian Christian School as Director of Music Education and Performance, bringing extensive experience in choral music, performance education, musical theater, vocal instruction, and student mentorship to the PCS community.

Dr. Arnold earned her Doctor of Arts in Music Education (Choral) from William Carey University in 2024, along with a Master of Music Education and Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Throughout her career, she has directed choral ensembles at the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels while also teaching music appreciation, musical theater, choreography, and private voice lessons. Her experience includes leading a cappella groups, developing musical theater programs, instructing undergraduate and graduate music education courses, advising doctoral students, and serving as a clinician and adjudicator for choral and show choir programs across the region.

In addition to her work in education, Dr. Arnold serves as Director of the nonprofit organization Open Eyes and remains actively involved in the arts community as a clinician, adjudicator, and worship leader.

Dr. Arnold and her husband, Todd, are already familiar faces within the PCS family as parents to two PCS students, Collier (Kindergarten) and Lila (2nd grade). She and her family are also active members of the First Baptist Church of Laurel. Her enthusiasm for the performing arts, deep love for music, and passion for investing in students make her an exciting and valuable addition to the PCS community.
