Senior Week 2025 at Presbyterian Christian School

Senior Week gave the Class of 2025 one more chance to be together as students—laughing, celebrating, and soaking up their final moments on campus. The week was full of lighthearted fun and long-standing traditions that helped close out this chapter at PCS.

It all began Monday night with the Senior Campout and Lock-In. The cafeteria and gym turned into a late-night hangout filled with movies, snacks, and karaoke. When morning rolled around, seniors headed to class in their pajamas for Pajama Day on Tuesday.

“My favorite part had to be the lock-in on Monday night,” said Senior Class President Mary Carter Callaway. “At the beginning of the year, we started by all sleeping in cabins in the woods together at senior retreat. Then we got to finish the year by having one last sleepover all together at the school. It was a bittersweet way to end the year the same way we started.”

On Wednesday, the class showed off their post-graduation plans for College/Futures Day. Students wore college t-shirts, and the girls sported hand-painted skirts highlighting where they’re headed next. It was also Anything but a Backpack Day, and creativity was on full display as students carried their books in everything from shopping carts to a remote-controlled forklift.

Thursday was Toy Story Day and the Powderpuff Football Game. Throughout the year, Toy Story had been a theme for the class, so it was fitting to see seniors dressed as characters from the movie. They took on the faculty in a dodgeball game that was both competitive and entertaining. Later that evening, the field lights came on for the annual Powderpuff football game.

The week wrapped up Friday with the Senior Dog Walk. The Class of 2025 made one final lap through the halls, accompanied by their dogs, while younger students, teachers, and their families cheered them on.

“My favorite part of Senior Week is the Dog Walk,” said PCS College Counselor Dallas Smith. “Seeing the dogs is fun, of course, but it’s also special because it’s the last time the seniors are all together before Awards Day and graduation. This class is incredibly special because I’ve never seen a group so genuinely close and connected with one another. It has been such a joy to walk alongside them this year, and I’m going to miss them so much.”

As they head into graduation, the Class of 2025 leaves behind a legacy of friendship, spirit, and strong community. Senior Week was more than just themed days and fun events; it was a celebration of who they’ve become and a reminder of the bond they’ll carry with them beyond PCS. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
