Sixth Graders Get Exciting First Look at Secondary Campus During 7th Grade Preview Day

On Friday, May 1, current sixth graders officially “crossed the bridge” from the elementary campus to the secondary campus for an exciting 7th Grade Preview Day experience.

The preview began with students being welcomed by campus leadership before splitting into groups for guided tours led by student leaders. Throughout the tour, students explored some of the most important areas of campus, including the 7th grade hall, cafeteria, The Hub, and the secondary office, giving them a firsthand look at what life will be like next year.

After enjoying lunch together, students headed to the gym for one of the most anticipated moments of the day: the Tribe Reveal.

In a fun, sorority-style reveal, students searched the floor to find envelopes labeled with their names. Once everyone had found their envelope, the room counted down together before students opened them simultaneously to discover which tribe they would join next year. Excitement quickly filled the gym as students ran to meet the two high school leaders proudly waving their tribe flags and welcoming them into their new tribe families.

It was a memorable day filled with excitement, anticipation, and new beginnings, and we cannot wait to welcome these students to the secondary campus next year!
