Presbyterian Christian School is excited to announce the hiring of Alyssa Davis as the school’s new Head Softball Coach.
Coach Davis brings several years of coaching experience from Seminary High School and Columbia High School, where she helped lead programs to multiple district championships and playoff appearances. Known for her passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field, Davis emphasizes leadership, discipline, teamwork, and excellence in every aspect of her program.
In addition to leading the softball program, Coach Davis will serve full-time on campus as a 8th grade physical science teacher and assist with volleyball. A University of Mississippi graduate, Coach Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She is married to Renzy Davis, PCS middle school Dean of Students and football offensive coordinator.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Davis to PCS as our new softball coach,” said Drew Mattison. “Having her on campus full time as both a teacher and coach will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow our softball program and invest in our student body. We would also like to thank Coach Blakeney for his years of service and dedication to PCS softball. We are grateful for the impact he has made on our student-athletes and wish him the very best in his next chapter.”
PCS looks forward to the future of the softball program under Coach Davis’ leadership.
