Mary Clayton Dunn will join Presbyterian Christian School as the school’s first dedicated elementary counselor, serving students and families on the elementary campus in a part-time role.
Mary Clayton is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience providing counseling and emotional support to adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families across outpatient and inpatient settings. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mississippi State University. Her professional experience includes work in private practice counseling, behavioral health services, and faith-based counseling environments, with areas of focus including anxiety, emotional wellness, family systems, and relational health. Mary Clayton will also continue her work with Cornerstone Counseling while serving at PCS.
The addition of an elementary counselor marks an exciting step as PCS continues to expand student support services and invest in the social and emotional well-being of students across all grade levels. Mary Clayton will work alongside PCS Social and Emotional Counselor Jenny Brock to further support students and families on both campuses.
Mary Clayton’s compassionate approach, professional experience, and heart for supporting students make her a valuable addition to the PCS community.
