Presbyterian Christian School Celebrates 9 Students Honored by College Board’s BigFuture Recognition Program

Presbyterian Christian School (PCS) is proud to announce that 9 outstanding students have earned recognition through the College Board’s BigFuture Recognition Program, an honor that celebrates academic achievement and future readiness.

The BigFuture Recognition Program from the College Board celebrates high-performing students who excel academically and demonstrate college readiness. The program helps students stand out on college and scholarship applications. Every year, talented students claim an award based on their achievement on College Board assessments, including the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™10, and AP® Exams. In 2025, the program offered three awards to students of all backgrounds and across schools nationwide: FirstGeneration Recognition Award, Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award, and for the first time, the School Recognition Award, to honor top-performing students in every high school, including lesser-known schools. This year, 9 students at Presbyterian Christian School were awarded.

The following PCS students received this recognition:

  • Graham Arrington, Class of 2026
  • Elizabeth Gatlin, Class of 2026
  • Bradley Graham, Class of 2026
  • William Hatten, Class of 2026
  • Saylor Sims, Class of 2026
  • Walker Easterling, Class of 2027
  • Mary Linley Gatlin, Class of 2027
  • Marley Williams, Class of 2027
  • Heidi Zheng, Class of 2027

“We are proud of these students for earning this national honor and completing the application process with the College Board,” shared Brandi Richardson, Secondary Campus Director. By earning this recognition, PCS students stand out to colleges and scholarship programs nationwide, paving the way for continued success beyond high school. Their dedication and commitment to academic excellence should be celebrated. Join us in congratulating these students.

Mark your calendars for this year’s PSAT Day where students in grades 7-11 will take part in the PSAT testing series on campus: Wednesday, October 8, 2025. We look forward to another year of successful PSAT testing and more qualifications in the Big Future program. More information about PSAT Day will be provided throughout the semester!
