This summer, five Presbyterian Christian School students took part in the 2025 American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State programs, held at the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
Abby Greer attended Girls State, a weeklong leadership experience designed to teach young women about civic engagement, government structure, and public service.

Banks Brady, Burn Curry, Graham Arrington, and Cannon Callaway participated in Boys State, where they engaged in mock elections, legislative simulations, and team-based challenges that mirror real-world government processes.
Throughout the week, students from across Mississippi learned about leadership, heard from state and local officials, and built skills in collaboration, communication, and citizenship.
We’re proud of these students for representing PCS and embracing opportunities to grow as leaders. Their involvement reflects our mission to prepare Christ-centered students for meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
