Presbyterian Christian School is thrilled to announce it was recently granted membership into the National Honor Society (NHS). PCS is currently in the process of completing all charter requirements leading up to the first induction ceremony during the spring semester of the 2023-24 school year. Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to be inducted if they meet the criteria for NHS membership. Additional information regarding qualifications will be available at the beginning of next semester.
Founded in 1921, membership in the NHS is one of the most respected high school honors one can receive. With chapters around the globe, the society is recognized for its emphasis on scholarship, as well its contribution to student development through service, leadership, and character.
“It’s a notable achievement to not only have a PCS National Honor Society Chapter, but to also have many promising students who will be inducted,” said Jimmy Messer, Head of School. “We want to recognize our students who excel academically, and providing this opportunity will strengthen their college admission and scholarship opportunities. I greatly appreciate Dr. Keith Rice’s efforts in establishing a NHS chapter at our school.”
