Welcome underclassmen and parents who are receiving this Tuesday Edition for the first time! This is an example of the weekly emails coming from the College Counseling Office!

Most of this will NOT apply to you today, with the exception of the slides from our meeting last week attached to this email! Enjoy;)

FALL COLLEGE TOUR:

We are happy to announce our first Fall College Tour – We’re going to Jackson!

(Seniors can attend if they are considering Belhaven, as Belhaven awards $2000.00 scholarships to students who attend an in-person tour prior to enrollment)

Here’s the plan:

Wednesday, November 16th – We’ll leave PCS bright and early @ 7am.

We’ll roll through…

-Mississippi College Campus Tour & Admissions Info. Session

-Millsaps College “Fried Chicken Wednesdays” lunch, Campus Tour & Info. Session

-Belhaven University Campus Tour & Info. Session

We will return to PCS in the early-evening, so please be aware it will be after normal dismissal (FYI: there are no sports games on this day).

The cost of the trip is $40.00 which includes Charter Bus transportation and lunch on campus!

THE SPRING ACT @ PCS:

It’s time to start thinking about the Spring ACT! The test will be given on March 7th, 2023. Please sign up and pay using the link, as there will be NO EMAIL sign-ups as there were in the Fall. We are using the Link only so that no one falls through the cracks, and everyone has plenty of time to sign up.

The cost of the ACT at PCS is $55.00.

REMINDERS: ATTENTION SENIORS-

Today is the priority deadline for applications to the Honors College at Ole Miss. 11:59pm!
SENIORS & PARENTS of SENIORS: PLEASE bring your Scholarship Offer Letters, Notifications, Awards, and/or Winnings to Ms. G. Sanderford in the main office, or Ms. Thomas. This is essential information for tracking data for graduation, awards, accreditation, and more.
