CC@PCS! Tuesday Edition, V.1, E.4 – 9/6/22

Here’s what’s going on this week…

1. Service. God calls us to love our neighbors, serve one another, and serve him. You also need to demonstrate SERVICE as you apply to colleges and for various scholarships. THIS WEEK YOU CAN SERVE BY: helping with the Emergency Water Drive for Jackson. Bring cased bottled water, gallon jugs, Clorox wipes, or hand sanitizer to the LIBRARY for our neighbors without running water. You can also log BETA hours by donating or volunteering. If you are interested in helping to transport supplies to Jackson on Saturday, let me know (ethomas@pcsk12.org)!

2. JUNIORS! READ THIS: Please come to the Counseling Office TODAY or TOMORROW if you are interested in applying for the Cooperative Youth Leadership Award. You can win a spot to participate in the Cooperative Youth Leaders’ Youth Tour of Washington D.C.!

9/16 – registration deadline for the National ACT on 10/22

9/21 – Southern Miss Admissions Counselor ON CAMPUS, in the library after 4th period/during lunch!

9/28 – LSU Admissions Counselor ON CAMPUS, in the library after 4th period/during lunch!

10/1 – FAFSA Application for the 2023-2024 school year becomes available to families

10/11 – ACT Test Fee will be drafted from FACTS accounts (ONLY for families of students who signed up for the October ACT@PCS)

10/18 – ACT @ PCS

10/22 – national ACT

10/26 – The PCS College Fair

11/1 – Dual Credit Course Fees will be drafted from FACTS accounts (ONLY for families of students taking DUAL CREDIT CLASSES)
