ANNOUNCING: Class of 2022 Mr. and Miss PCS!

We are proud to present, upon a vote of their peers, Mr. and Miss PCS for the Class of 2022…. Charles Russum Middleton and Ann Elise Hester!

 

Mr. PCS– Charles Russum Middleton: Russ is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Drew Middleton. He has attended PCS since kindergarten and is honored to have been selected as Mr. Presbyterian Christian School. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he has enjoyed Youth group, mission trips, and VBS. He is also an active participant in Hub-City Young Life and First Priority.

Russ served PCS as the Student Body President and was a member of Senior/Junior Beta Clubs and Mu Alpha Theta honor society. He was also voted most school spirit for his freshman, sophomore, and junior years.

While at PCS Russ enjoyed all sports. He participated in football, baseball, and even basketball at a young age. His Junior year he was selected as an honorable mention MAIS All state team. As the leader of the defense for three years, Russ led the 2021 Bobcats in tackles. He has played third base and pitched for the bobcats for 3 years.

Russ was also involved in the Hattiesburg community. He was a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council which served the community by doing service projects around the city. He has also volunteered with Edwards Street ministry, Hope for Hattiesburg, and Salvation
Army.

In his free time, Russ loves hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, snow skiing, and spending time with his family, friends, and dogs. Russ will be attending Mississippi State University in the fall.

 

Miss PCS–Ann Elise Hester: Ann Elise is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Chris Hester. She is a member of Heritage United Methodist Church and has attended PCS since Kindergarten. While at PCS, Ann Elise was elected Freshman and Senior Homecoming maid and has participated in girls basketball for 5 years, track team, yearbook staff, Film club and Senior Beta Club. She served as Captain of the Lady Bobcat soccer team where she has been awarded Offensive player of the year, Players player of the year, and 1st team all conference of 2019. In 2020 was named offensive player of the year, was 1st team All conference and All -MAIS All state. Ann Elise was named 2021 MAIS all state and was awarded 1st team All conference and Varsity Players Player of the year. She also was selected to play in the MAIS soccer all star game.

In the community Ann Elise has been active with Independent Club of Hattiesburg and served as Social Chairman, Young Life, Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine, Blair Batson’s Children’s Hospital for Children’s miracles and a member of Crown Club for 3 years. She has played soccer for Hattiesburg Futbol Club for the last 10 years.

Ann Elise plans to further her career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on a soccer scholarship to play for the Lady Bulldogs, while also pursuing a major in Fashion Merchandising and Business.
