Presbyterian Christian School is proud to celebrate the remarkable academic achievements of seventeen (17) outstanding students who have earned AP Scholar Awards from the College Board! These prestigious honors recognize their exceptional performance on the college-level Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) Exams, a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and intellectual excellence.
The AP Program offers motivated high school students the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses and these students rose to the challenge. In May 2025, they sat for their AP Exams and achieved impressive results that placed them among the top-performing students worldwide. In fact, only about 22% of more than 2.8 million AP students globally earn an AP Scholar designation, making this accomplishment truly noteworthy.
We’re thrilled to recognize three students who earned the AP Scholar with Honor designation, awarded to students who score 3 or higher on four or more AP Exams with an average score of at least 3.25. Congratulations to Andrew Brett, Olivia Gerald, and Lizzie Young.
A big round of applause also goes to fourteen students who earned the AP Scholar Award for scoring 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. These scholars have demonstrated academic strength and college readiness. Congratulations to Eleanor T. Brown, Liberty Brown, Burn Curry, John Patrick Garriga, Elizabeth Gatlin, Bradley Graham, Laura Kate Hrom, Elizabeth Jackson, Mayme Mikovich, Steven Quin, Saylor Sims, Jordan Walker, Karson Ward, and Katherine Woodard.
Five of our award recipients were only juniors when they took these exams, meaning they have one more year to challenge themselves further and potentially earn additional AP Scholar honors next year!
These achievements reflect not only the students’ personal commitment but also the exceptional instruction and support provided by the PCS faculty. We are incredibly proud of our students and their pursuit of academic excellence.
